Jason Pettet, M.O.M., Dipl. Ac.

Jason Pettet is a Master of Oriental Medicine and Diplomat of Acupuncture with the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).

He was born in Holland and grew up in South Haven area.  Graduating with honors from South Haven High School in 1987, he attended Eastern Michigan University earning an academic scholarship and being conferred a Bachelors of Science in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training in December 1991.  After which he attend Tai Hsuan Foundation Collage of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Honolulu, Hawaii, completing his post graduate work in 1995. 

Taking the NCCAOM Diplomat of Acupuncture national certification examination in 1996, Jason returned to Michigan to start his practice.  He has continued to expand his skill set studding Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique [NAET], auricular acupuncture, Korean Hand Therapy [KHT] and Tai Chi.

As an athlete, Jason has a passion to help people restore wellness with natural God given means.  He believes there is a reason for every issue we experience. Correct the imbalance, correct the problem.  That is what drew him to Oriental Medicine.  It searches for the patten behind the imbalance not just the symptom one is complaining about currently.  That is also what make him proud to be associated with the McAlpine Group.  The team that is assembled here can work on the whole person to restore wellness.

Through the years Jason has been a sought after speaker for hospitals, professional and civic organizations, and collage and high schools alike, to speaking on the topic of Oriental Medicine and health.  He is an Eagle Scout and was twice appointed by Governor Granholm to the Michigan Board of Acupuncture.  He is a founding member of the board and served as its Vice-Chairperson from 2006 – 2011 during the critical period of creating and defining the original regulatory language for the profession here in the State of Michigan.
